Welcome to Rethink Ed

Convening, Conversation, and Community

Rethink Ed Recap | 2:22

On April 26, 2018, the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation worked with high school students, educators, community visionaries, national innovators, and industry and business leaders to connect, learn, and share how we can transform the high school diploma to reflect the skills, abilities, and knowledge that students need in our changing world at the inaugural Rethink Ed convening in Kansas City, Missouri.

This conversation is bigger than high school. Technology and human advancement is continuing to change how our society works. To prepare students for success and the future of learning, we must reexamine traditional school settings to engage students and parents differently. There are people across the nation doing incredible work to reimagine school, including in the Kansas City region. Flyover country is in the midst of an incredible moment of innovation and collaboration, yet only a few are benefiting from these forward-thinking education models. How do we shift the numbers so that all students are prepared for the future of learning and work?

Fill out the form below and share with us what you are doing in your community. Together we can be a part of rethinking education for all.
