Biotechnology Laboratory Technician Instructor of Skilled KC, Skilled KC Technical Institute

Sabrina Ivy is a biotechnology laboratory technician instructor – real world learning in Education for the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation, where she networks, develops, and maintains close partnerships with industry partners so that paid internships and other workforce experiences, along with employment opportunities, are available for Skilled KC Technical Institute students.

Prior to joining the Kauffman Foundation, Ivy was a business analyst for Viracor Eurofins Laboratory, where she led cross-departmental projects to design, develop, and implement new assays for clinical and biopharmaceutical laboratory testing. Earlier, Ivy was a public health scientist for Missouri State Public Health Laboratory, where she performed laboratory testing and acted as a subject matter expert for healthcare officials and the public.

Ivy has a Master of Science in ethical strategic leadership and a Bachelor of Science in biomedical molecular biology from the University of Central Missouri.
