Laura Barrett Senior Program Officer – Ecosystems Operations and Performance, Entrepreneurship Laura Barrett is a senior program officer – ecosystems operations and performance in Entrepreneurship for the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation, where she leads operational processes, provides programmatic oversight on strategic milestones, and manages associated budgets and timelines related to the ESHIP Communities program. Prior to joining the Kauffman Foundation, Barrett was a portfolio manager for the Children’s Investment Fund Foundation, where she managed a $93 million portfolio of program grants for one of the UK’s largest private philanthropies. Earlier, Barrett was a deputy country director for Helen Keller International, where she worked with the country director to oversee all administrative and representational aspects of running the Burkina Faso country office. Barrett volunteers at the Santa Fe Waystation food pantry. Barrett has a Master of Public Health in international health from the Rollins School of Public Health, Emory University, and a Bachelor of Arts in communication and African American studies from Purdue University.
