Kelly Calvert

Compensation and Performance Manager, Talent & Culture

Kelly Calvert is the compensation and performance manager in Talent & Culture for the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation, where she manages and oversees performance and compensation while working with finance and legal to ensure proper oversight of the two areas.

Before joining the Kauffman Foundation, Calvert was the human resources director at The World Company, a privately-owned, fourth generation multi-media company operating in three states, where she led human resources strategy, employee relations, recruitment and retention, compensation and benefits, workforce development, safety and health, and payroll. Earlier, Calvert was a senior human resources consultant for Security Benefit Group, where her work included employee relations, performance consulting, compensation and recruiting.

Calvert has received numerous professional honors, including the 2010 Kansas State SHRM George Trombold Award, Kansas HR Professional of the Year and 2009 Jayhawk Chapter SHRM HR Professional/Community Volunteer of the Year, and she is a board member of the Heartland Community Health Clinic and The Senior Resource Center of Lawrence, Kan. Calvert earned a Bachelor of Arts in psychology and French from the University of Kansas.
