Jeff Barratt Chief Executive Officer of Skilled KC, Skilled KC Technical Institute Jeff Barratt is an entrepreneur-in-residence in Education for the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation, where he will work with the Education team to explore how non-degree credentials in the highest-demand, most-employable sectors can scale throughout Kansas City. Prior to joining the Kauffman Foundation, Barratt was executive director at Emily Griffith Technical College, where he was on the forefront of creating new, agile models of postsecondary education. Earlier, Barratt was the dean of instruction at Front Range Community College, where he managed 16 career and technical education program areas and focused on strategic development, fiduciary oversight, and outreach recruitment. Barratt is a member of the Denver Metro Chamber, the American Technical Education Association, and is on the Emily Griffith Foundation Board of Directors. Barratt has an ABD in higher education leadership from the University of Arkansas, a Master of Science in technical teacher education from Pittsburg State University, a Bachelor of Arts in English from Missouri Southern State University, and an Associate of Arts in general studies from Crowder College.
