Caleb Puckett Instructional and Curriculum Design Specialist of Skilled KC, Skilled KC Technical Institute Caleb Puckett is an instructional and curriculum design specialist on the Real World Learning team in Education for the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation, where he works closely with subject matter experts from business and industry partners to develop program maps and curriculum that reflects industry needs. Before joining the Kauffman Foundation, Puckett was an instructional designer for Park University, where he provided expertise in the design and delivery of courses for the university’s School of Business. Earlier, Puckett was an instructional designer for Grantham University, where he advised and guided subject matter experts, faculty, and peers through the course design process across multiple modalities. Puckett has presented at numerous conferences. Some of his presentations include: “High Quality OERs” at the Northwest Missouri State University .EDU Conference, “Incorporating Problem-Based Learning Into Your Online Programs” at the Park University Annual Assessment Institute, and “It’s in the Curriculum: Establishing an Information Literacy Requirement at a Multi-site University” at the Kansas Library Association’s College and University Libraries Section Conference, among others. Puckett has a Master of Library and Information Science from the University of Oklahoma, a Master of Arts in English from Oklahoma State University, and a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Central Oklahoma.
